Read the info on terminating your account.
Click Continue.
Confirm your identity and click Yes, terminate this account.

*Your account will be reactivated if you sign in to it within 40 days of closing it.

Close Yahoo Accounts on Mobile

Open Yahoo Mail app
Tap ☰ in the top-left corner
Tap Manage Accounts
click on edit
Tap Remove to the right of an account
Click Remove to delete your yahoo account.

Close your Yahoo Account
