Remove Email Account from Mac OS X Mail:
1. Open the Mail app.
2. Click on Mail in the top menu.

Remove or Deactivate an email Account from Mac
Click the System Preferences icon in the Dock or go to Apple menu -> System Preferences from the menu bar, then open internet accounts.
To delete the account completely, select it from the list and click the minus sign at the bottom of the list. Confirm this action by click OK.
If you don’t want to delete the settings and emails for the account, you can Disable Account . This will keep the settings and emails, but the account will appear at the bottom of the list of accounts and will be marked as Inactive. Inactive email accounts don’t appear in Mail.
